Advanced radiant heating

This course will cover all aspects of floor heating and snow melting, but greater detail and time is spent on applications and controls. In addition, a large portion of day 2 is spent on the HeatLink heatloss and computer analysis program. (Note: Course is offered separately for reps/wholesalers and mechanical contractors; see below for details.)

Prerequisite: One-Day Basic
(Note: Basic Radiant Design, Layout & Installation or Radiant Introduction course.  The One-Day Basic courses will be held by local distributors and agents.  Contact your agent for dates.)

HeatLink / AquaLink Components and Installation

For The Mechanical Contractor Course:

  • More in-depth look at installation techniques and guidelines
  • Concentrated look at potable water applications utilizing PEX tubing installation guidelines

For The Wholesaler Course:

  • Emphasis will be placed on the selling features and benefits of the many HeatLink components
  • Expanded training and discussion on market share and penetration
  • Component, stocking, and promoting issues related directly to the AquaLink line of products

Design:

  • Actual project calculations will be shown on screen from start to finish through computer and multimedia projection systems
  • Design training will provide a complete under standing of the heatloss & analysis programs

Guidelines:

  • Expanded estimating and material summary tools (new HeatLink computer software will be provided)

Complete HeatLink Manual will be provided including course outlines, brochures and miscellaneous other literature.

Accreditation certificate provided after completion of course.
