The TMP 3-Way Mixing Panel’s primary application is as a single zone mixing device where there are no flow requirements in the primary loop. Intended to be used with DHW tanks as a heat source, the pump is activated once every 24 hours, for 15 minutes, to ensure that potable water in the piping is not stagnant. At this time, a DHW priority option for these panels is not available.
When the panel receives a call for heat, the pump is activated, and the thermostatic control head in the 3-way mixing valve will automatically regulate the water temperature in the secondary circuit. When not used with a DHW tank as a heat source, secondary zoning downstream of the panel is possible. The TMP200DT is a dual temperature panel. The low temperature output is the same as the TMP070, but it also has a high temperature pump, for secondary high temperature applications such a as fan coil or baseboard.
